I love the salt, pepper, prawns. I love the salt and pepper chicken. The lunch menu was pretty great but they need to do something about the price overall it's a great place to eat lunch. The service is OK it could be a little bit better more organized in the ambience is just buying lunch.

Little Namking is a to-go Chinese restaurant. This place is always busy and their phone lines half of the time doesn't go through. There is no seating and only pick option is available. The fried dishes here are SO good! I recommend the honey walnut shrimp, salt & pepper wings and szechuan beef. The honey walnut shrimp is delicious. It's crispy, sweet and savory all at the same time. The salt & pepper wings are the BEST here. It's always my to go to order. They are SO CRISPY! This a great place to grab to-go Chinese food and super affordable!

I was participating in a class nearby and needed to get some lunch to go. And of course, when I arrived at the restaurant, the power was out. Not just for them but about 1500 customers in the genera area. Fortunately, since this is a Chinese Restaurant and the new laws banning gas cooking haven't been passed yet, they could make me an order of Shrimp Chow Fun. Only downside was that they couldn't accept credit cards because of the power outage. No problem. For once, I actually had some cash! Service was quick and friendly. I couldn't help but feel bad for the restaurant staff. No power also means no air conditioning, no fans and no hood fans. I can't imagine what working over 35,000BTU wok burners felt like. I forgot to take a picture of my order before I scarfed it down. It was darned good though. I hadn't been here in a number of years, but I think I'll be visiting again soon.

The food is delicious!! I love the wings. There is usually a wait because it's busy. But the wait is worth it. Call ahead! Price is reasonable.

Came here after work because my husband saw it on Instagram and we live in San Leandro. We got the Mongolian chicken lunch special, salt and pepper shrimp, chicken wings and walnut prawns. Everything was really good, but the Mongolian chicken STILL got me thinking about it! It's probably the best I've ever had haha. The chicken was good, crunchy and sticky, the walnut prawns had good flavor and wasn't soggy like some places, the salt and pepper prawns were pretty good too but they were a little too crunchy to bit into. The staff was busy when we got there-- they weren't rude but straight to the point.

I've lived in San Leandro for over a year and only just recently decided to stop by Little NamKing. I arrived about five minutes before they opened for the evening at 4 PM, and all the street parking in front was taken by people waiting in their cars waiting for LN to open. I rounded the corner and found parking in a little lot behind the store. I didn't necessarily see any signs saying it was employee only parking, but I also wasn't looking really hard... They opened promptly at 4 PM and it's basically a takeout operation. There are a handful of chairs in the small front area and one lady at the front taking orders by hand, calculating totals on a calculator, and handing out orange tickets with your order number on it. I heard someone in line grumbling about them not answering the phone when he was trying to place an order, but after being inside, I kinda get it. They see a steady flow of customers and the lady at the front was no nonsense and totally dialed in to doing a million things at once. That said, I was the second person in line, ordered salt and pepper wings, salt and pepper shrimp, and beef chow mein, and was told it would take 10 minutes. I stood outside and, sure enough, in about 10 minutes, a guy called my number. When I went back inside, I handed him my orange ticket and he asked if I needed utensils and sauce. When I got home, I saw that they took the time to cut out a portion of the lids on the salt and pepper items, ensuring that there could be air flow and that the items wouldn't be soggy. As a customer, I truly appreciate that step. While the wings get a lot of praise, my favorite item was the shrimp. They have the perfect crunch while still having a pretty light, flavorful coating. Don't get me wrong though, the wings are solid in their own right. The only item I wouldn't get again is the chow mein. The noodles have a good texture, and it's a generous portion, but it's so bland. My husband said he could doctor it up by frying it a bit more with soy sauce and oyster sauce, but why go through the extra work? I think we'd just order more prawns and then make steamed rice at home. All in all, a great first trip and I look forward to going back. I was surprised when I placed the order that it seemed like you could either do a full order of the salt and pepper items or get them over rice. It's surprising because that's usually a lunchtime style order. In any case, it's a great option and if I'm lazy about cooking rice, I'd totally opt for that.
